War On Boko Haram: Hungary Pledges To Support Nigeria

According to a statement made by Femi Adesina, the special adviser to the president on media and publicity, the vice prime minister said that his country was ready to help Nigeria in the war against the Boko Haram sect.
Stressing that terrorism is a global challenge, Semjet promised that Hungary would support the Nigerian Armed Forces’ efforts to end the Boko Haram insurgency.

Semjet also said that Hungary would assist Nigeria by deploying its expertise in the area of agriculture.

Buhari, in his turn, noted that both countries had a lot in common and stressed the importance of bilateral cooperation. He added that Nigeria would welcome the strengthening and expansion of cooperation between both countries in the areas of security and agricultural development.
“Hungary faces some immigration challenges today, just like other parts of Europe. We also have our challenges in the North-Eastern part of Nigeria.
“Hungary is able to fully understand our problems, and we can work together,” he said.

Earlier this week, Ahmed Abo-Zeid, the spokesman of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Consular, made a statement, in which he expressed Egypt’s support to Nigerian government in the fight against Boko Haram and terrorism.
The Egyptian government also called for global cooperation to combat the heinous crime perpetrated by terrorists against humanity.
